The Cardiopulmonary Services staff at Cannon Memorial Hospital performs diagnostic testing, monitoring and respiratory therapy to patients
with disorders of the cardiopulmonary and neurological systems.
The Respiratory Department has received the Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care and
provides the following services to patients.
Cardiopulmonary Services:
- Electro Cardiography (EKG)
- Holter Monitoring
- Cardiac Stress Testing
- Complete Pulmonary Function Testing
- Incentive Spirometery
- Arterial Blood Gas Studies
- Airway and Ventilator Management
- Nebulizer Therapy
- Numerous Respiratory Therapy Modalities
- Patient Education for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Nuclear Medicine Services:
- Nuclear Stress Testing
- Sentinel Node
- Thyroid Imaging
- Bone Studies
- Muga Scans
- Lung Studies V/Q
All diagnostic procedures and respiratory therapy must be physician referred and can be scheduled as an outpatient procedure.
